  • The deadline to submit an application is on the 8th every month. 
  • Application received after 8th will be carried over to the next month meeting.

Deferment of Registration (Unregistered 1st Semester Student Only)

  • Successful candidates may consider deferring their registration.
  • Applications can be made online via IPSis website. Deferment of Registration is only allowed once for new students only.
  • Candidates will receive a new offer letter and are required to register in the following semester intake.

Special Leave Application (eCK)

  • Active students may apply for CK of the semester due self-health issues.
  • Applications can be made for a maximum of two (2) times throughout the duration of the study. Each application is valid for one semester only.
  • Application will be done via student portal.

Deferment of Academic Semester (Reasons other own health issue)

  • Active students may apply for TG due to unforeseen circumstances other than health-related reasons.
  • Applications are made by filling the TG form which can be downloaded from the IPSis website.
  • Applications can be made for a maximum of two (2) times for Master and four (4) times for PhD throughout the duration of the study.
  • Approval by JKAPS for application within the duration of study

  • The Faculty offers full-time, and part-time mode of study.

  • Students may apply for a change of programme/campus once throughout the duration of the programme

Withdrawal of Study

  • Must submitting the Withdrawal Form to the Postgraduate Officeand get KPPS endorsement, following to other centre.
  • Students must pay any outstanding payment prior to the application of withdrawal of study.
  • First semester students who have registered but withdrawn within thirty (30) working days after registration are eligible for 80% refund of tuition fees.
  • There will be no refund if the application for withdrawal is done after 30 working days.
  • Second and subsequent semester students applying to withdraw from studies are not eligible for a fee refund.

Student Registration (Returning)

  • Applied to student who have had trouble to register in the student portal only.
  • Student’s status will be withdrawn if he or she does not register within fourteen (14) days including weekends from the date of registration.
  • Returning students are required to register every semester within the stipulated date.
    

APPEAL FORM (FOR D1, D3, D4, D5, D10, D11 & GT STATUS)

 
  • Must be apply within the stipulated time as stated in the Postgraduate Academic Calendar
  • Students who are dismissed may appeal to continue or extend the duration of study to the respective Faculty within fourteen (14) days after the official examination result announcement by the University
  • A complete appeal form must be submitted to the respective College/Faculty/Academic Centre/UiTM Branch Campus and supported by JKAPS.
  • Students are allowed to appeal only once throughout the duration of the study.

RESEARCH FORM

1

Research Progress Report (Masters)

  • Students who demonstrate an acceptable level of performance in their research progress will be given SM status and endorsed by JKAPS.
  • Students who do not demonstrate an acceptable level of performance in their research progress will be given AM1, AM2 (for Master) or AM1, AM2, AM3 (for Doctoral) students.
  • Master’s student who received AM2 will be dismissed from study

  • Students who do not demonstrate an acceptable level of performance in their research progress will be given AM1, AM2 (for Master) or AM1, AM2, AM3 (for Doctoral) students.
  • Doctoral student who received AM3 will be dismissed from study.

Notice of Intention to Submit Thesis

  • Thesis is 90% complete
  • Notice of thesis submission is valid for three (3) months from the date of submission.
  • Students are required to submit Thesis Abstract, Table of Content and Similarity Index Report.

Thesis Submission Form

Students are required to submit digital thesis and Similarity Index Report to the postgraduate office of the respective College/Faculty/Academic Centre/UiTM Branch Campus along with Thesis Examination Fees receipt.

Application for Conversion from Masters to PhD

The Master’s Degree students may apply for a conversion to PhD within 12 months for Full-Time student and 24 months for Part-  Time student from the date of student’s registration.

Appeal for a Remarking of Examination Result

  • Students who are dissatisfied with the final results may appeal for remarking of a particular course
  • Appeal for remarking can only be made for courses that have final examination by remarking the answer script.
  • A complete appeal form must be submitted to the respective College/Faculty/Academic Centre/UiTM Branch Campus within fourteen (14) days after the official announcement of the examination results by the University

Transfer or Exemption of Credits

Ensure that the application is made within one (1) month after semester begins

Add or Drop of Course(s)

Add and drop of courses must be done within the stipulated time as stated in the Postgraduate Academic Calendar.
